ALIEN INVADERS – Crop Circles

The mysterious appearance of crop circles is a definite sign that aliens have been in the near vicinity. These agricultural oddities can appear in any rural area, though farmlands and large fields of wheat tend to be the favored locales. They’re usually a geometric mish-mash of circles and triangles, with maybe a cross through the middle, and are notable for their proximity to discarded beer bottles and rowdy frat houses. Perhaps the aliens are attracted by the increased levels of testosterone to be found there.

Which leads to the question: just what is the point of these mysterious crop circles? The most common explanation is that they are scorch marks left behind by visiting alien spacecraft. While possible, this answer is likely far too simple. A much better one is that they are secret messages left behind by the aliens designating potential targets for the future invasion. This makes much more sense, because otherwise they’d have to communicate by triangulating radio signals, and that’s far too complicated for a space-capable race.
